This book is 9″ tall by 6 ” wide by about 1” thick (at the bound edge). The front cover appears to be three pieces of paper sewn together, featuring colorful buttons on a cream background, a beautiful, chocolatey brown stripe, and light teal with an ivy-like motif. The back features a pattern of bits and bobs for sewing. This book could be a great place to stash ideas for the next craft project on your agenda.

The pages are all hand cut. Each signature contains 20 pages (10 leaves) of Canson recycled sketch paper (50 lb.) and is wrapped in a piece of decorative paper that coordinates with the covers. With 10 signatures, this book contains 240 pages (120 leaves).

This book is bound using the Coptic stitch, which means that it will lie flat while in use. To sew it, I used creamy mercerized cotton thread, which I waxed using local beeswax. Put your nose near the stitches and you might be able to smell the beeswax-y goodness.

I use high quality materials in all of the books I make and construct them in a smoke-free, pet-free environment.
